The Reggae Imposter Strikes Back; Win A Copy!

Regggae ImposterEsco Chris is a long time friend and musician who never stops making new music which is great for everyone. He’s one of those artists that just keeps working on his craft to create new musical journey’s. Back in 2012 he dropped an album of organ driven early reggae sounds called Reggae Imposter (which you can still download here) and now he’s back with another set of tunes in that same style.

The album includes 11 tracks and is due for release on June 14th digitally with the CD being available to be shipped out just a few days before. The rhythms on the album are some of the strongest from anyone I’ve heard. The production on the vocals is a little rough though sounding like it was recorded in a tunnel but it doesn’t distract from such strong tunes.

The album pre-order includes immediate download of 3 tracks in the high-quality format of your choice (MP3, FLAC, and more), plus unlimited mobile access using the free Bandcamp listening app. You’ll also get the complete album the moment it’s released. Just visit the Bandcamp page to get this wonderful collection of organ-driven Rocksteady soul from a musician that never shys away from trying new things.

The one man band was kind enough to share some of the tunes with us to stream below. You can sample other tunes at the Band Camp page. Want to win a copy of the album? Read below!

I've been involved in the Los Angeles music scene since at least 1995 going to shows, promoting, spinning records and running labels. Ska and Early Reggae are my passion among other things of course.
