The Japanese label Dubstore have started a reissue campaign highlighting the sensational Merritone catalog which focused mainly on amazing Rocksteady gems. The first 10 singles have already been released which you can preview and get more info below.
DANCECRASHER posted previews of the upcoming Trojan Records Big Shot release. They also had this to say: It’s good to report that the latest issue on the Big Shot is up there with the very best of them. Two tracks claiming to be Ken Lack (Caltone) productions that must date from 1968. The A side is the Emotions – You Are The One a nice track in it’s own right but is overshadowed by the B side – Girls Like Dirt (probably) by Phil Pratt.
