Are you ready to do the Moonstomp again? If not get ready cause it’s time to go back to the moon as Mr. Symarip Roy Ellis (Syamarip, Pyramids, “Skinhead Moonstomp”, “You’re Mine”, “Stay With Him”, “Must Catch A Train”) is headed to Los Angeles on Saturday November 17.
His last time to California was in Oakland in October 2010 and it was a huge show! I expect this to be just the same with fans coming from all over.
He’s meeting up with Northern Soul King Detroit’s J.J. Barnes (“Baby Please Come Back Home”, “Our Love is in the Pocket”, “Chains of Love”, “Just One More Time”) for another Angel City Soul Club & Hotshot Sounds production. The Angel City All-Stars collective will of course be the backing band for this mash-up of Soul & Reggae. Once again it’ll all go down at the Alexandria Hotel.
