Reggae 69 Fan Club Ready To Take Flight

Reggae 69 Fan ClubDid you hear about the new music sensation taking over the nation? Well you will soon! Music is a group experience. Vinyl is a fetish that some of us have. The Reggae 69 Fan Club will try to bring both of them together paying tribute to the sounds of the UK sub-cult that the house of Trojan built in 1969.

The Reggae 69 Fan Club is about putting out great music in the old style of a young Jamaica – sounds that we can be proud of – ONLY the cream of the crop and sounds by the pound that you’ll want to play in the clubs and home.

Visit the website at and sign up for the email list. We’ll send you information about the newest releases and promotions as it happens. You’ll also get a FREE song download from The Bullets instantly. (See them live on Thursday December 2nd @ The Airliner in Los Angeles and on tour with The Slackers first week of January!)

I can tell you that one of the first releases will be a double a-sider from the Irie Beats band of “lost” tracks produced by Brian “Boom Boom” Dixon of Aggrolites fame! That’s right we’ve got delicious cuts of rare and brand new stuff coming your way. The flip side will be a vocal cut featuring Malik “The Freq” Moore, vocalist sensation from The Lions & The Bullets! How is that for a gem? All on UK style vinyl (cd & digital too) ready for your sound system.

Listen to the radio player on the site for “No Me Jodes” to get your first sonic treat of vintage reggae sounds from the new Reggae 69 Fan Club. The other tracks in the player are similar tracks to what we will be releasing over the next year with your help of course!

I've been involved in the Los Angeles music scene since at least 1995 going to shows, promoting, spinning records and running labels. Ska and Early Reggae are my passion among other things of course.
