New Studio One LP/ Covers Book on Soul Jazz Out October 11th

A new official Studio One Records release The Legendary Studio One Recordings (Original Classic Recordings 1963-1980) on Soul Jazz Records is due out October 11th. It will be available as a 2LP or CD set and is the first new Soul Jazz/Studio One album release in nearly four years.

While that wasn’t amazing enough it’s will also be released along with a new mighty 200-page deluxe 12″x12″ hard-back book Cover Art of Studio One Records! The book is set to include 100′s of stunning classic and super-rare photos of record sleeves from the history of the mighty label with an introduction by Steve Barrow. Not that’s exciting news!

It was also indicated that along with the recent re-release of the Studio One Story DVD/CD/Book set that there are more releases on the horizon. These new releases are meant to lead off a group of new stuff from the vaults.
