Last Thursday Cedric “Im” Brooks, the legendary saxaphonist, was admitted to the hospital after suffering a “mild” heart attack. According to the Jamaican Observer he has now been removed from life support. It goes on to mention that “He is still not awake but he has yawned and is showing signs of progress,” so let’s wish him well and hope things progress for the better.
