“Baby Come Back” is a soul stomper that has been covered many many times over the years. I first heard this song being done by the Equaters, an amazing early 80’s ska reggae band on Stiff Records (home of Madness). That version was amazing to me when I first heard it. I then found the original was done by The Equals which was famous for this song and the fact that future reggae and 80’s pop star Eddie Grant was in the band.
The intro to this live video from the 60’s is priceless.
