An Aggro Expander Vinyl Version Night Sat Dec 15

Aggro Expanders FlyerOn Saturday, December 15 a special party will be going down in Little Tokyo. Here in LA we have plenty of live Reggae nights, selector sessions and vintage vinyl nights. It’s great of course. Well it’s holiday time and every so often something new and exciting hits the scene. So here’s something just in time.

Roger Rives, organ player for Aggrolites and The Bullets, has teamed up with fellow musician Devin Morrison, from The Expanders and The Lions, to present a night of selections and versions. Both these cats are true vinyl junkies with massive collections of tunes who know their stuff backwards and forwards.

The plan is for them to drop deep cuts from their massive collections in a DJ battle of sorts along with Roger dropping his wicked organ skills over the them creating a live version excursion. Add to that throughout the night special vocal performances from Jesse Wagner, Chiquis Lozoya, Jeff Roffredo, John Butcher and Jah Faith. I’m sure there will be other surprises throughout the night.

It all goes down at Senor Fish at 420 1st Street (at Alameda) in Los Angeles. Even better than that? IT’S FREE ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Can’t get better than that for a Christmas gift.

It will be another round of all vinyl vintage selections with a twist!
